| Where to read about “original” gadgets? Posted: 23 Jan 2020 07:55 AM PST Hi, don't know where to ask my question so here seems as good a place as any. Is there a subreddit or a website where we can stay informed about "fun" or ingenious gadget? I mean I like the next generation of smartphone or GPU as much as the next geek but that's just yet again another iteration of something that already exists. It's just the CPU that is a little bit faster or the screen that is a little bit crisper. And that's fine! But I'd like to read about gadgets, useful or not, that tries to offer something really new or weird or fun or stupid. For instance a smartphone with a crank or solar panels to recharge the battery, or a vest with 8 different secret pockets, or a foldable barbecue grill that can be kept in your back pocket, or anything we didn't already seen elsewhere (all my examples are made up).
