Are there any smartphone-integrated garage door controllers that don't require wiring? Posted: 09 Jan 2020 03:19 PM PST I've seen some products that require you to take out the existing controller mounted to your wall and reconnect some wires, but this seems a little complicated. Slim external DVD writer SE-S084D Posted: 09 Jan 2020 08:51 AM PST I have this DVD writer, but I need an odd(?) for being able to use it. Samsung doesn't make these odds anymore. What can I do about it? [link] [comments]
Best new not-quite-smart mobile phones? Posted: 09 Jan 2020 08:24 PM PST Is anyone using a new mobile phone that is very minimal to do just the basic stuff you need when out? Something that might be good for young kids (i.e., not really any games or web access), but probably with GPS and map, and maybe a decent enough camera too. [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Jan 2020 10:45 AM PST So I'm deciding whether to buy a new iPhone 11 Pro Max or get an older iPhone 8 Plus and purchase a used Macbook Pro from like 2015. I'm starting to code but I'm not sure what to get. I do have a gaming desktop and a windows laptop (2017 Lenovo Yoga). What do you think? I currently as a mobile device have an iPhone 6s.
