    Portable mp3/radio player

    Posted: 22 Jan 2020 12:40 AM PST

So I realize mp3 and radio players have grown obsolete since one's phone can serve so many applications, but I am really looking for an mp3/radio player that can be clipped to my clothing while I workout. I would use my phone but I'd rather preserve the battery life.

My search has proven useless though as my goal is to get something that also plays AM stations. Thus far, everything I found only plays MP3 with FM stations. Does anyone know why AM frequencies never seem to be integrated with these players? Or is there one out there that I haven't seen?

Most Sony products compete with flagships in each of their categories, mainly apart from their smartphones, why?

    Posted: 21 Jan 2020 12:49 PM PST

It recently struck me that Sony products, on a consumer level, are at the forefront of their respective categories, all apart from mobile phones. They make some of the best TV's/displays, cameras, speakers/headphones, game consoles, all apart from smartphones, where they compete at a mid-tier level. Why do you think that is?

Use apps directly on Smart TV or via Apple TV 4K?

    Posted: 21 Jan 2020 04:35 AM PST

Wondering if there are any concrete quality differences when running apps like Netflix directly on a Smart TV (2019 Samsung Serif) rather than from an external Apple TV 4K (Or other streaming boxes)? I don't see a huge difference when I test it visually but are there any details I'm missing? Thanks!
